Join us in celebrating Deakin's 10th Diwali Festival of Lights.

This free community event includes cultural performances, a DJ, Indian market stalls, traditional food, henna tattoos, face-painting and free children's activities followed by a spectacular fireworks display on Geelong's Waterfront.

Diwali is one of the most significant Hindu festivals celebrated around the world. The prevailing theme is the triumph of light over darkness, goodness over evil and knowledge over ignorance.

Please register early to guarantee entry.

5.45pm: Cultural performances held at Costa Hall

7pm: Indian market stalls showcasing traditional food, DJ, henna tattoos, face-painting, children's activities and more

8.50pm: Fireworks display on Geelong's Waterfront

Dress: Indian cultural dress or neat casual
