GMHBA Stadium | Kardinia Park
GMHBA Stadium (Kardinia Park) is the home ground of the Geelong Football Club and one of three venues* in Victoria that hosts AFL premiership matches.
The Kardinia Park Stadium Trust manages Kardinia Park Stadium, with a 36,000 capacity, it is the home ground of the Geelong Football Club that began playing home games at Kardinia Park in 1941.
Formerly known as Corio Oval, Kardinia Park, Shell Stadium, Baytec Stadium, Skilled Stadium, Simonds Stadium.

Charles Brownlow Stand
The Charles Brownlow Stand (opened 2017) means there are more general admission seats at Simonds Stadium increasing from 1,500 to 4,000.
Simonds Stadium now offers scan-in access at the gate for all GA seats and standing areas. Simply scan your membership card at the Polly Farmer Gate (Gate 1) to access GA seating in the Ablett Terrace - there's no need to book.
Simonds Stadium is close to public transport links within Geelong and for patrons planning to head down the highway from Melbourne or interstate. Jetstar flights arrive at Avalon Airport approximately a 30 minute drive from Simonds Stadium.
Geelong is 75 kilometres down the Princes Highway from Melbourne, via the Westgate Bridge.
There is limited parking within Kardinia Park for patrons attending Simonds Stadium matches are advised to arrive early.
Limited street parking is available, but drivers are advised to read parking signs carefully as residential parking schemes apply.
V/Line runs matchday services between South Geelong and Spencer Street hourly. Simonds Stadium is a short walk from South Geelong station.
