The award winning and much loved free event will return this Autumn with an array of all new illuminated installations and mesmerising projections from local and interstate artists.
Highlights of the program include the premier of Breeze a new work by renowned western suburbs artist Bruce Ramus featuring seven ethereal veils suspended between earth and sky animated by wind light and colour. Sydney-based artists H0RSE also make their Victorian debut with two sculptural installations: Macula a spiralling bamboo tunnel alive with an abstract dance of light and Silent Observers a poignant projection work on the enduring nature of trees.
Look out for the whimsical larger than life Cassowaries by A Blanck Canvas or sit in awe beneath Pixel Sky's canopy of light as Studio John Fish returns with their unique blend of art and technology. Local Wyndham artist Rebecca Kable will illuminate this year's Gobo path with her series of thoughtful images titled Interwoven Tree.
We look forward to welcoming you once again to this vibrant celebration of creativity community and the landscape that shapes it.
LIT 2026
Breeze by Ramus
Seven great veils suspended between earth and sky. Sheer fabric swaying wind communicating change. By day they move in gentle conversation with the air. By night they awaken. Light flows across their surface colours ripple and fade. Shadows drift like passing clouds. Air becomes Light. Light becomes movement.

Silent Observers by H0RSE
What if trees could talk?
Which stories would they tell throughout the centuries?
Silent Observers is an art installation made of tree discs that are brought to life through precise projection mapping. Large trees have long life spans and silently endure the changing times around them throughout history. Their aliveness is often overlooked and they are treated as a mere resource. By accentuating their innate growth rings with animated projections we draw attention to the fact that trees are living beings. The result is a hypnotic dance of pulsating lines. Making their Victorian debut with Silent Observers and Macula are Sydney based boutique design stable H0RSE. (Silent Observers was first presented by Vivid Sydney 2023 and commissioned by Destination NSW).
PRISMIDION by Chalk River Labs
Presented by always popular Chalk River Labs. Inspired by the recent Synthetic Aperture Radar scans of the Pyramids of Giza PRISMIDION reinterprets ancient forms into a beacon of light. This projection mapped pyramid draws on the mysteries of sacred geometry and the power of new discovery. The work offers a space for gathering connection and wonder.
Acute Immersion by Genius Laser Technology

Enhanced by a soft haze that creates a magical sense of walking through light. This lucid dream will be a memory not easily forgotten.
Interwoven Tree (Gobo Walk) by Rebecca Kable
Local Wyndham artist Rebecca Kable has created a suite of eight original hand drawn designs. The Interwoven Tree follows the life of a River Red Gum echoing the iconic trees that line the Werribee River in Wyndham Park. The series reflects the rhythms of nature from growth change renewal and the passing of time to explore the threads that connect individuals families and the more-than-human world. As audiences walk the path they move through a visual cycle: seed sprout early growth transformation maturity renewal and intergenerational connection.
Interlaced Tapestry by Chalk River Labs
Interlaced Tapestry draws inspiration from yarn bombing transforming colourful threads of wool into a moving projection of woven light. Multicoloured strands and geometric forms drift and intertwine blending the warmth of handmade craft with the rhythm of digital motion. The work reflects the networks of connection that shape modern life where individual threads come together to form a shared social fabric.
