Lorne Pier to Pub 2027

The Lorne Pier to Pub is an annual 1.2-km open water swimming race held in January at Lorne.

The much-loved Lorne Pier to Pub and Lorne Mountain to Surf events are making a much-anticipated return in 2026, promising an exhilarating experience for participants and spectators alike.

The iconic ocean swim, now in its 46th year, will take place on Saturday 10 January, commencing at the historic Lorne Pier. Participants will brave the fresh waters of Louttit Bay, embarking on a 1.2-kilometre journey to the foreshore where cheering crowds await their arrival.

In 2027 the Pier to Pub will celebrate its 47th anniversary.
