We The Makers | Sustainable Fashion Prize 2025

We the Makers is a biennial program hosted by the National Wool Museum and centred around the $10000 acquisitive Sustainable Fashion Prize.

In line with Geelong’s recognition as a UNESCO City of Design the Museum is committed to celebrating the past present and future of fashion highlighting Geelong’s pivotal role in the wool and textile industries.

Our approach to sustainable fashion is comprehensive championing ethical practices innovative design material mindfulness and business ingenuity. Every two years we explore emerging themes in sustainable fibres and textiles showcasing the visionary work of the next generation of fashion designers.

All shortlisted entries for the Sustainable Fashion Prize will be judged by an esteemed panel of national and international industry experts.

Shortlisted entries will be displayed as part of a curated exhibition at the Museum offering visitors a unique opportunity to experience these remarkable creations firsthand.
