The inaugural 100 Acres Festival at Bellarine Estate has announced the addition of internationally acclaimed soul powerhouse The Meltdown to its impressive line-up bringing the sweet sounds of blues and soul to the Bellarine Peninsula on Saturday April 18.
Already set to make its debut with three-time Grammy Award nominee Eric Bibb as headliner 100 Acres Festival now expands its musical palette with one of Australia's most celebrated modern soul bands joining the bill.
Hailing from Melbourne The Meltdown have built a formidable reputation as Australia's premier purveyors of soul. Blending the raw emotion of Stax and Motown with the storytelling traditions of Nashville their sound is equal parts heart and groove led by the unmistakable voice of Simon Burke.

With a deep hypnotic rhythm section and soaring brass arrangements led by Lachlan McLean on baritone sax alongside Eamon McNelis on trumpet on stage it's deep grooves and no wasted moments.
Set amongst the rolling hills and vines of the family-run Bellarine Estate 100 Acres Festival promises a full day of world-class music local wine and coastal hospitality. Headliner Eric Bibb will perform with his full band as part of his world tour celebrating One Mississippi (released January 31) marking his first full-band Australian tour since early 2023. His performance will lead a line-up that also features Australian blues greats Lloyd Spiegel Phil Para and Kathleen Halloran and now the addition of The Meltdown to round off the final line-up with 3RRR's Max Crawdaddy spinning blues and soul classics between sets.
