Birregurra Hall - a venue with the best sound and acoustics in The Otways.

?Birregurra Hall is an ideal venue for community and private functions including meetings, weddings, celebrations, fundraisers, live music, theatre, workshops, fitness classes and memorials.

?Recently the Hall has undergone some much needed renovation, landscaping and technical improvement as part of the Regional Arts Victoria Small Town Transformation project and the Australian Federal Government's Building Better Regions program.

Hire the Hall

Built in 1884 for meetings, court cases, education and entertainment etc, a Mechanics Institute and Public Library functioned here, with a Reading Room for daily newspapers. From the 1920s to the 1960s films were regularly shown; and community singing, dances, balls, concerts, euchre parties and flower shows were other popular social activities.
